T-Eazy, the 7-1-8 Kid, is a Brooklyn-bread emcee with some of that old school 90s flow and that millennium swag. Determined to make his ascension to the ranks of the Hip-Hop legends, Eazy’s confidence emanates through his music.Crown Height’s son has released his third and most anticipated mixtape album, “Tha Future in Tha Present: Hosted by DJ Joker” and is geared up to show hip-hop New York’s stagnant rap scene has an heir apparent.
Here's a Track from the Album:
* "Bring It Back " (click to listen)
The 7-1-8 Kid has been developing his slick delivery and skillful lyricism since his early teens, first busting rhymes in his high school cafeteria. Born and raised in Kings County, Eazy derives his musical influences from Brooklyn’s two rap pillars, the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z.
As a 14-year-old pup, he experimented with his first mix CD, “History In Da Makin’.” Then two years ago he got serious and released “7-1-8 Wit' Me, Vol. 1: Hosted by DJ Joker.”
Encouraged by the CD’s street sales and feedback, Eazy decided to let time pass for it to marinate before hitting the streets with “7-1-8 Wit’ Me, 2nd Dose: Hosted by DJ Joker” on NG Records. The mixtape pushed the emcee’s career in a big way. One-by-one, the 2nd Dose grabbed listener’s ears throughout the five boroughs.
This time around, Tha Future in Tha Present, promises to give people a little of everything: substantive rap for you lyrical people, club track for you partygoers, swag music for you playas and pimps and some soft and sensual tunes for all you lovely ladies.
Here’s a little taste to wet your appetite off of Tha Future in Tha Present. First his Brooklyn street anthem, “Bring It Back” and for a change of pace listen to the ladies hit “Its Nothin” (click to listen) featuring NG Records artist and singer Notes.
