Biography
Following in the tradition of the South's current dominance birth's another phenomendon in the form of the Carolina Boss Playaz. Consisting of Four Solo artists tired of the industry's climate and materialism, a bond was formed. This simple thought became an innovative reality when old friends Tre-Dot and P-Batters reunited for a recording session with Tru Crime and Sin. Tre-Dot and Tru Crime were already busy recording a project while Sin was a former aquiantance alson on his grind. Produced by DJ Faab,"Touch My Chedda" was the result of the union. The Carolina Boss Playaz were born. In addition, a popular myspace was created leading to valuable contacts that also led to being placed on no less than six upcoming mixtapes, DJ Doggface and Wit-E-Beats included three tracks while Lazy K's unsigned mixtape had CBP placed on the impressive track number 2. In order to complete a strong month, a video will be shot for 'Touch My Chedda' and the grind continues.

Synopsis
Father of Lies is a classic story of good vs. evil. Messy Marv to release new LP "Draped up and Chipped Out"

Messy Marv has had a hard year, but it seems to be looking up. He was recently nominated for Best Rap Act of 2007 for the San Francisco Weekly Music Awards, taking place October 18th. Messy is also readying his next project, Draped Up and Chipped Out 2 which is slated for release November 20th on Scalen LLC/SMC Recordings/Fontana, his second in this series.

Draped Up and Chipped Out 2 is designed to hold over his fans until his release from jail. It's been over two years since Messy's last solo album, Bandanas, Tattoos and Tongue Rings. Before being locked up Messy was wrapping up his album which was originally dubbed "Millionaire Gangsta", but instead of the material becoming dated, Marv took 9 tracks that we're finished and from jail he coordinated the remainder of the songs. Draped Up and Chipped Out 2 is a compilation style solo album. Guest appearances include his friends Juvenile, Mike Jones, Sean Paul (of the Youngbloodz), B-Legit, Mistah F.A.B., G-Stack, PSD Tha Drivah, Dem HoodStarz, and V-White. There is even a collaboration between Mac Dre and Messy. When it came to production, Messy enlisted his longtime producing partners, DJ Daryl and Sean T.

Not letting anything come between him and his music, Messy looks forward to releasing this album to his fans. “I know my fans is starvin' for that real Messy Marv shit, so while I'm sittin' down I had to re-up with Draped Up & Chipped and put a twist on it. You gettin' a feel for my solo album plus all the people that made Draped Up 1 go. But when I touch down, I'm back in these streets pushin' this independent line- know that!”

Draped Up and Chipped Out 2 is sure to do more than just hold over his fans. Be sure to look out for the release November 20th.
