"Air Jordan II Doernbacher 11/09 release!!" By T

It's that time again people!! I'm here to put you on the hot releases in both the shoe game and streetwear! Today's focus will be on the upcoming Air Jordan II release. Aiight, the Air Jordan II was first released in 1986 in the original colorway of white/red and black. I wonder why? The AJ II was re-released in both high and low top versions through the years and now they're back!!

This AJ II high-top is called the Doernbecher which is the name of a children's hospital in Oregon. They have a program that allows patients to design their own Nike's and this was presumably designed by one of the hospital's patients. Typically these hot kicks go up for auction and that's the last time they are seen, but this pair has the special designation of actually being put into production!! The shoe features what has been called a peacock look and also features some reptile accents.

I'm not sure how many of these are going to be available but they are scheduled to be released on Nike.com on 11/09/07 which is this Saturday! They will retail for $140 so have your paper ready! Till next time!
