Well, everyone knows that the beef between Jay-Z and Jim Jones is well documented. They've both been firing shots at one another. I just copped a mixtape a couple of days ago and man I was pretty impressed. The tape I'm referring to is called "Fourth Quarter Pressure" and it was mastered by Big Mike who generally puts out good material. Akon plans polygamy show

Rapper Akon wants to introduce his three wives to the world in a reality TV show. Despite his record label Universal banning him from promoting his polygamy to the world, the Senegalese-born star is determined to show how his lifestyle doesn't harm anyone and follows the rules laid down by the Koran. He says, "Me personally, I would love to just crack it wide open. It's fun to talk about stuff like that, it opens the line of communication so people can get to understand each other. Women can get to understand men and why they do what they do, and that was the purpose of even bringing that up altogether. "So right now I'm working on some situations to where we might create a show around this whole thing and just do it. That would be dope."

Big Boi guest stars and performs on "Girlfriends"

Big Boi, the Grammy nominated singer, producer, and actor from OutKast, guest stars in multiple episodes on "Girlfriends."

Big Boi, who will play himself in three episodes, will discover Lynn (Persia White) as a talented musician and will hire Lynn to write music and collaborate on an album.

Big Boi also performs a song written by actress Persia White, who plays Lynn's character. The next episode airs Monday, November 27 (9:00-9:30PM, ET/PT) on The CW.

Lil' Scrappy "Keeps It Real," Launches "G's Up TV

With the release of his new album Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live just around the corner, fans will now be able to see Atlanta's own Lil' Scrappy in his own show entitled "G's Up TV."

The weekly show saw its first episode air on November 21 in an effort to give fans a deeper look into Lil' Scrappy's personal life. The documentary-style show, which can be seen via the rapper's website gsuptv.com, features a candid Scrappy as he recounts many of his personal experiences and tales of struggle to make it from the rough streets of Southeast Atlanta.

The show's viewers will also be treated to guest appearances by some of hip-hop and pop culture's biggest names including Lil Jon, Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck, Jaime Kennedy & Stu Stone, Young Dro, Jessi Malay and Jay-Z producer, Aqua.

"'G's Up TV' is the other side of me, not just doing the rap thing," says Scrappy. "It'll help people understand what I'm about, beyond my music career, the real Scrappy."

Additional show segments will include a variety of skits that give viewers a glimpse of the rapper's everyday life, such as watching him hold a cognac tasting with Lil Jon, going on a food run with his boys, and sneaking into the master tape vault at a secret location.

The show, whose trailer has had 1.5 millions views on YouTube since it was posted 6 weeks ago, will also serve as a promotional tool to ready fans for the December 5 release of his debut solo set Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live. Attempting to adjust to the increasing numbers of music consumers who are turning to online outlets and mobile devices to receive content, the show's developers are looking to broaden both Scrappy's reach and fan base with the show's launch.

"The show was designed to work everywhere, from TV to the web and mobile devices," stated Jerry Welt, VP of New Media. "We wrote, filmed, and edited it from day one with multiple distribution channels in mind."

Lil Scrappy's debut solo album Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live will hit shelves on December 5 on Reprise/BME Recordings.

Kanye West Enters Car In Formula BMW World Finals In Spain

TAOW Productions announced Monday (November 20) that rapper Kanye West has signed on to sponsor a race car in the Formula BMW World Finals being held this November in Valencia, Spain.

The rapper's car will showcase his Bear Mascot featured on his album covers, along with the logo of two of the star's favorite charities -- Kanye West Foundation and the United Nations World Food Program.

"Creating opportunities for people to dream and achieve is part of the core focus of the Kanye West Foundation," said West. "The Kanye West Foundation is glad to partner with Philip Major for such a global event. We view our participation as a race to help humanity and hope to raise awareness about my Foundation and the United Nations World Food Program."

West is just one of the celebrities entering a car in the competition, which is being held November 24-26. Former NFL quarterback and host of FOX Sports Network's "The Best Damn Sports Show Period," Rodney Peete, will also be sponsoring a Formula BMW racecar in the competition in an effort to support the United Nations World Food Program.

"Open wheeled racing has the potential in America to be what it is to the rest of the world. It is my hope that the program will not only raise awareness for great causes, but also assist in the development of the next great Formula 1 champion," said Scott Taylor, president of TAOW Productions. "We are quite excited to have both Kanye and Rodney support our efforts of using this platform to spread the word about these charitable organizations."

West's Formula BMW USA car will be driven by Philip Major, a 17-year-old driver from Ottawa, Ontario. Major was recently chosen as the Motorsport Club of Ottawa Novice driver of the year and awarded the Dewar Trophy.

The Formula BMW World Finals is a competition between the best drivers from the world's regional Formula BMW series. The second annual event is being held November 24th-26th in Valencia, Spain and will include 38 drivers from 18 countries.
